Terms of Service
Official Document · Last Updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service apply when you use jyotirhealth.com.np or request services from Jyotir Health Pvt Ltd.
## 1. Who we are
Jyotir Health provides outpatient counseling, group sessions, Psychological First Aid (PFA) training, educator programs, and well-being workshops in Nepal. Sessions may be online or in person, as agreed.
## 2. This is not emergency care
Our website, forms, and scheduled sessions are not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or thinking of harming yourself, call 1166 (National Suicide Prevention Helpline) or 100 (Nepal Police), or go to the nearest hospital. Our Crisis Helplines page lists additional numbers.
## 3. Booking a session
Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. A coordinator will contact you to agree a time, format, and counselor. Fees, if any, are confirmed before the session.
## 4. Your responsibilities
Please provide accurate contact details and join on time. You may cancel or reschedule by informing us as early as you can. Repeated no-shows may mean we cannot hold a slot for you.
## 5. Confidentiality
Counseling is confidential, with the usual professional limits: we may break confidentiality if there is a serious risk of harm, or if the law requires it. Those limits will also be explained at the start of care.
## 6. Website use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to access the admin area without permission, or submit false inquiries. Content on the site is for general information and is not a substitute for a personal clinical assessment.
## 7. Limitation of liability
We take care in our work. We are not liable for delays caused by internet failure, third-party platforms, or events outside our control. Counseling outcomes vary from person to person.
## 8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
## 9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Kathmandu, unless the parties agree otherwise.
